    The Adam Smith Theatre is an historic theatre in Kirkcaldy which offers a varied programme of entertainment throughout the year.

    First opened in 1889 as a memorial to groundbreaking architect Adam Smith, this stunning theatre with its impressive facade over looking Memorial Gardens boasts a 475-seat auditorium along with three function rooms available for hire, including the Beveridge Studio. Enjoy a fantastic range of entertainment all year round including theatre, stand-up comedy, ballet, opera, musicals, film, contemporary dance and children’s entertainment. A refreshment room is located on the ground floor just off the foyer. Beneath the auditorium are two general purpose areas where exhibitions and receptions are sometimes held.
