    We are open between 11am and 5pm Monday through to Saturday and between 1pm and 4pm on Sundays


    • Children Welcome We offer fun activities for children. For rainy days we offer a craft table for younger children, while older children have the opportunity to become a Museum Detective. Better weather provides the opportunity to go into the garden and become a Garden Explorer with our fun activity sheets, while younger children can become Wildlife Wizards. We also have a maze in our garden, some good old fashioned cleeks and girds, and peevers.

    Getting there by railway:- From the station walk down the short hill to the High Street, turn left and proceed west; Annet House Museum and Garden is situated on the south side of the High Street about 300 metres west of the cross. Linlithgow is on the main line from Glasgow Queen Street Station to Edinburgh Waverley and is also accessible directly by rail from Stirling and Perth.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- Leaving Edinburgh airport, take the A8 west bound to Newbridge. At the roundabout take the M9 north bound. Leave the M9 at juntion 3 and follow signs for Linlithgow. Annet House Museum and Garden is situated on the south side of the High Street, west of Linlithgow cross.
