    Welcome to Arran Adventure Centre

    Great experiences are priceless and Arran Adventure is here to help create those special moments for family, friends, colleagues and you!

    Arran is a spectacular island - rugged peaks, waterfalls, rock pools, sheltered bays, sandy beaches, beautiful coastlines, varied wildlife, all of which makes Arran a wonderful natural playground.

    Our staff are welcoming, friendly & professional who will ensure that everyone has a great time.

    We offer sea kayaking, gorge walking, archery, mountain biking, abseiling, climbing & bike hire.

    Advance reservations can be made by contacting the centre on 01770 303349.

    Our activities are available throughout the year but some are dependent on the season and weather conditions.

    We welcome groups, individuals & families.
    Most of our activities are suitable for children from 6 years and up, although we do ask that a responsible adult accompany them.
    Unaccompanied teenagers (13-16 years) are welcome to book on to our special iteen sessions.

    Public parking is right next to the centre with changing & washing facilities.

    Getting there from the TIC:-
    Turn right out of the pier. Continue along Shore Road, following the road past Brodick Golf Course on the right.  Turn left at the brown tourist sign for Auchrannie Spa Resort & Arran Adventure. Follow the road and the signs which lead you to the centre at the back of Auchrannie Spa Resort.

    Road Directions

    To Ardrossan Harbour:

    From Glasgow: the coastal A78 via Largs; the A737 via Beith; or the A736 via Irvine.

    From Northern Ireland: from Stranraer A77 and A78 main coastal roads

    From England: Leave the M74 at J8 for the A71 through Kilmarnock and A78 near Irvine. Follow brown tourist signs for Arran Ferry. An alternative route is through Dumfries and the A75/A76 but although shorter in distance, it takes longer as it is mostly single-carriageway with few passing places

    Ardrossan-Brodick (55 minutes)
    Claonaig-Lochranza (30 minutes)
    Tarbert-Lochranza (One sailing per day in winter) (1 hour 25 minutes)

    Foot passengers do not have to book tickets in advance; however, vehicles should be booked in advance. Vehicles can also be left in the secure car park at Ardrossan Harbour. There is also a ferry link between Lochranza and Claonaig. This is a much smaller ferry, and the crossing takes 30 minutes. No advance reservations, just turn up and wait.
