    Banchory Museum has displays relating to local history, especially the life of Banchory born musician and composer James Scott Skinner - the Strathspey King.

    Other displays show Deeside's royal connections, 19th century tartans and Deeside's natural history.

    This is the only museum in the area showcasing the archaeological wealth of the north east as well as local history.
