Winning competitions is exciting but definitely not all there is to our sport. Ever growing as a leisure pursuit, clay target shooting is an increasingly popular form of relaxation for men and women in all walks of life. The ground is perfect for those just wanting to shoot for fun as well as those wanting to practice or take part in competitions. Novices and experienced shots are made most welcome. Youngsters can also have a go, depending on age and build. All necessary equipment is provided with no special clothing required. Just remember though, clay pigeon shooting is an outdoor activity!

The shooting ground is ideal for private groups, company days, competitions, stag and hen parties - in fact, any party! We are delighted to cater for private individuals, syndicates or groups whatever the size with targets arranged to suit all ability levels.

Coaching and tuition is available with lessons by appointment for both Game and Clay shots. The very special High Pheasant comes off a cherry picker with birds up to 180 feet. With the launchers hidden on top of a natural 90' banking the targets simulate some of the best game shooting available. Over 50 automatic traps present a variety of other birds and rabbits either in the open field or our forest avenue walk. Experience the guiding hand of friendly, experienced instructors and your skills will rapidly improve.
