Dramatically set against the backdrop of Goat Fell Mountain, the grand castle has stunning views over Brodick Bay to the Firth of Clyde. Since 1987, the caste has featured on the reverse side of twenty pound notes issued by the Royal Bank of Scotland.
There have been many supernatural stories associated with Borodick Castle including the sightings of a grey lady and tales of a white hart that foreshadows the death of an old clan chief.
