Carradale Golf Course

Golf Courses

Airds, Carradale, Argyll, PA28 6RY

Carradale lies on the east coast of Kintyre and 30 minutes drive north of Campbelltown. It's a gem of a course and the views of the western profile of Arran unfold as soon as you step on the first tee.

The Carradale Bay and hills of Kintyre's central spine complete an amazing panorama from the ninth green. The course is characterised by tiny, hard-to-hit greens and rolling terrain and has been described as the most sporting nine-hole course in Scotland.

Carradale Golf Club has disabled access, a disabled toilet and showering facilities.  Tea/coffee and soft drinks are available on an honesty basis and can be obtained in the small kitchen.  Self service is the order of the day!

Green Fees are also paid on an honesty basis and the Green Fees letter box is found in the lounge.

    2015 fees are as follows : 9 holes - £15; Day Ticket – £25

A small selection of golf clubs are available for hire from the Greenkeeper and there are also trolleys for hire.  Should someone require a buggy, these can be hired from Carradale’s community business, Bikes and Buggies (www.carradalebikesandbuggies.co.uk) which can be found next door to Nellie B’s Tearoom on the way in to Carradale.

Should you want a drink or a meal after your game, why not try the Carradale Hotel (www.carradalehotel.com) which is next door to the Club or the Ashbank Hotel (www.ashbankhotel.com), also close by, just past the village shop.

Above all enjoy the experience of playing Carradale Golf Course.  People return year after year to play our course and throughout the summer period there are a number of Open competitions which attract a good number of holiday makers.

Children are welcome on the course and can take part in the Open competitions if they are over 13 years of age.

Currently dogs are allowed on the course on a lead and owners are expected to act responsibly and clean up after their pets.
