The Castle Gardens are situated in the town of Dunoon on the Cowal Peninsula.
The Castle Gardens surround the ruins of the 12th century Toward Castle. The beautifully sloping grounds have been the property of the citizens of Dunoon since 1893 and are situated opposite the town pier.
Visitors can wander through the gardens and enjoy spectacular views across the Argyll coast, and it is the perfect place to relax and unwind with a picnic. There are also putting greens and tennis courts within the gardens.
They are a short distance from the Castle Hill Museum, which details life in Cowal through the ages
