Castledykes Park is a park in Dumfries and is near to another of the town’s green spaces, The Dock Park.
Robert the Bruce had a castle here and the site is marked with a plaque on a sandstone marker. There is also a sunken garden in the park that was an old quarry and was where the sandstone for the Mid Steeple was quarried.
