Clan Armstrong Trust Museum

Museums

Langholm, Dumfries & Galloway

Trace the history of this formidable Borders family at the biggest Armstrong museum in the world.

Please note that the Clan Armstrong Museum is currently closed as a result of the structural condition of the current building. The Clan Armstrong Trust however will continue to grow and flourish and be representative of Clan Armstrong in Scotland.   We are now cooperating with a fledgling organisation called The Langholm and Eskdale Visitor Network, or LEVN for short.   The outcome is that the owners of the Eskdale Hotel in Langholm town Centre have generously donated space within the hotel where the Trust can have a permanent display of Armstrong artefacts and historic memorabilia which will be marketed as Armstrongs at the Eskdale. To launch this ambitious and unique project we will be working hard over the summer to bring the project to fruition and we have arranged a Grand Opening over the weekend of 12th, 13th and 14th of September. Please contact Frank J Wherrett Vice Chairman/Company Secretary on frank.wherrett1@talktalk.net or our Director of Marketing Mr Alan Williams on alan@williams5248.freeserve.co.uk.
