Clearwater Paddling is based at Castlebay and offers sea kayaking tours in the Outer Hebrides.
When visiting Barra why not join a guided sea kayaking trip and explore a world of beautiful islands, deserted white beaches and sheltered bays? No previous experience is necessary.
In the sea kayaks you may catch a glimpse of dolphins, porpoise and basking sharks. You will meet the island resident seals, otters, and a fantastic array of birds.
The sea kayaks are comfortable, roomy and designed to remain upright, so you don’t have to worry about capsizing. You will quickly discover that it is easy to paddle your own sea kayak and in no time you will be confident and in control.
Join in the fun on one of the sit-on-top kayak adventures. Sit-on-top kayaks are great fun to paddle, easy to climb on and off and are a great way to explore the bay. No experience is required and wetsuits are provided.
Or why not discover the excitement of coasteering? Climb, scramble and swim your way around the coastline of Barra. With cliffs of all heights to jump off, caves to explore and channels to swim, you really will explore the wild side of the Hebrides. Wetsuits, buoyancy aids and helmets provided.
