Overview
From the story of the Creetown granite quarries to the War Room where you can see how the villagers lived through two world wars, the unique 'church in a railway carriage' to the Natural History section which shows CCTV of the regions red squirrels and peregrine falcons, plus much more, the Creetown Heritage Museum guarantees a fantastic day out.Nearby, the Balloch Wood Project has created footpaths through the local woodland. Varying in length from 2 - 4 miles, many of the walks start a mere 400 yards from the museum. As you explore the beautiful and unspoilt woodlands keep your eyes peeled for red squirrels and the other wildlife.
