This reserve’s ancient woodland is a haven for wildlife and, in early summer, there are vast carpets of bluebells.
There is an excellent network of paths at this reserve which features plenty of mature oak woodland. There is a 16th century dovecote too and a mountain bike trail. February is a good time to see the snowdrops, May is best for bluebells and, in autumn, the woodland colours are well worth witnessing.
