The museum tells the story of the Cumbernauld area from pre-history to the Romans and through to the development of the new town in the 1960s.
The museum is situated within the town’s main library and uses displays, paintings and videos to tell the story of Cumbernauld through the Roman, agricultural and industrial eras. A local studies area allows for more in-depth research and the browsing of photograph albums.
