    Located 8 miles from Stirling and just 45min from Edinburgh and Glasgow, Deanston Distillery sits by the River Teith at the entrance to the dramatic Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.

    Having been a cotton mill for 180 years, Deanston was transformed into a distillery in the 1960's and has been distilling whisky using traditional methods ever sicne. Visit us and experience the sights, smells and sounds of a true working distillery and we will show you how we hand craft our great whisky which is sweet, fruity with a malty honeyed spiciness on the palate.

    The Coffee Bothy, our distillery cafe, offers a wide selection of wholesome food. Daily specials, light lunches and delicious soups are freshly made every day by our chefs. Choose also from our speciality coffees and teas, and the satisfy that sweet tooth with a scrumptious Bothy cake.

    Road Directions

    Deanston Distillery is located 8 miles north of Stirling on the A84 near Doune towards Callander at the gateway to the Highlands and the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. Turn left at Teith Bridge at Doune, and follow the River Teith half a mile to the distillery.

    From Edinburgh & Glasgow
    We are 45 minutes by car from Edinburgh and Glasgow city centres. Exit at Junction 10, Stirling on the M9 motorway north, and head for A84 signposted, The Trossachs & Crianlarich.

    Public Transport Directions

    The No59/C59 bus from Stirling to Callander leaves on the hour from Stirling Bus Station and drops you at our door. Hourly return buses from Deasnton leave for Stirling. Journey time 20 minutes.
