Duddingston golf club, formed in 1895, warmly welcomes all of it's visitors. Whether you frequently travel to Edinburgh or you are a first time visitor to Scotland's capital, playing Duddingston is an absolute must for any golf enthusiast.
It is highly regarded as one of the best parkland courses within Edinburgh and the Lothians. Along with the picturesque setting and challenging course, it is also located within a 10 minute drive of Edinburgh city centre and both Waverley and Brunstane train stations, making it very easy to travel to.
The course was designed by three times Open Champion Willie Park and it will provide a tough, yet very enjoyable experience to golfers of all abilities. It is fairly described as undulating parkland and measures an extensive 6, 479-yards. A range of unique par 3's,4's and 5's add up to nice variety that will challenge players on their decision making and shot selection. The Braid Burn, winding throughout the course and in play on a disturbingly large number of holes, lies in wait to carry away any wayward shots.
A recent clubhouse refurbishment offers first class facilities to members and visitors alike. Award winnings chefs are always on hand to provide top quality food and that every occasion is a "special" occasion at Duddingston.
