    The Drifters - Saturday 5th July

    Soul music at its very best, this show celebrates the events, people and culture over the decades of the Drifter's historical legacy, plus brand new recordings.

     MegaMix - 85 Years of Playhouse Hits - 25th - 26th July

    Stage Experience presents the stars of tomorrow. 120 of the area's most talented youngsters take to the stage, to present a concert packed full of huge chorus numbers, stunning solos, and featuring songs from musicals such as Les Miserables, Hairspray, Legally Blonde and Disney's the Lion King.

    Burt Bacharach - Wednesday 30th July

    Burt Bacharach is viewed as one of the greatest composers of all time, and the cult hero of the contemporary music set.  This is a selection of his best loved songs, including 'I'll Never Fall in Love Again', 'The Look of Love', 'I Say a Little Prayer', 'Close to You', 'This Guy's in Love with You' and many more.

    Forth on the Fringe - Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd August

    Join Boogie and Arlene for 2 nights of comedy, music, caberet and dance. This year's headline acts include Jim Davidson, Tim Vine, Jason Byrne and Mark Watson.

    Comedy Gala 2014 - in aid of Waverley Care - Tuesday 9th August

    Edinburgh's biggest comedy event featuring an all star cast. Last year's event was a sell out so be sure to book your tickets early. This year's line up includes Kevin Bridges and Seann Walsh.

    Step out onto the stage of the Edinburgh Playhouse, go behind the scenes into the secret world of backstage, smell the greasepaint, hear about our resident ghost and learn all about our beautiful theatre! A truly unique Edinburgh experience. A fantastic opportunity to step on stage, go up to the fly floor for a bird’s eye view of the stage and much, much more! Tours are available on selected Saturdays and midweek matinee mornings for a number of upcoming shows at The Edinburgh Playhouse. Tours begin at 10.30am and last approximately 90 minutes.
