Flamingo Yacht Charter

The Yacht Haven is perfectly situated to start a sailing holiday on the Firth of Clyde.

Established in 1990, Flamingo Yacht Charter is still run by the same enthusiastic team. Their aim is to offer a top quality, efficient, but above all, friendly service.

The original base in Largs is the ideal place to start a cruise around the Clyde, but recently a summer base has been opened in Craobh Haven to give the more adventurous sailor easier access to the spectacular west coast.

Flamingo Yacht Charter offers a wide range of yachts, from luxury cruisers to flat out racers, and in sizes to suit most parties. The 19 yachts range in length from 27 - 48 feet, and are all fully equipped and coded to meet the regulations of the MCA.

Standard prices are inclusive of diesel, engine hours, gas and most boats have outboard motors for the dinghy, heating and hot water. Flaming Yacht Charters are also a part of Sail Scotland.

Facilities at the bases include toilets, showers, laundry, free secure parking, a bar, restaurant, coffee shop, chandlers, a grocery store, and 24 hour access for berthing.

Largs boasts easy access from both Glasgow and Prestwick airports, both of which are served by low cost airlines from the UK and Europe. By road it is 30 minutes from the motorway system at Glasgow Airport, via the A737. Craobh Haven is best reached by road, via Lochgilphead, but can be accessed by train to Oban and taxi from there.
