Soak up stunning views of Wigtown Bay, the Clints of Dromore and the massif of Cairnsmore Fleet as you play a round on one of the most scenic and well-maintained golf courses in southwest Scotland (5042 yards (18), SSS 66, par 66). The ninth hole is listed amongst Britain's 100 Extraordinary Golf Holes.

    Please note booking is not necessary and that tee times not available on Sunday mornings until after 12pm. Golfing parties are welcome.

    Public Transport Directions

    Getting there by railway:- From Dumfries: Follow A75 towards Stranraer, past Castle Douglas. Gatehouse is on right hand side.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- From Prestwick: Travel to Ayr and then on to A713 to Castle Douglas (approx 50 miles). Shortly before Castle Douglas, join A75 towards Stranraer. Gatehouse is 10 miles along A75.

    Getting there by ferry:- From Cairnryan: Follow A77 onto the A75 towards Dumfries and Carlisle. Gatehouse is approx 40 miles along this road on left hand side.
