Glasgow Science Centre is a great family attraction that presents science and technology in unique and inspiring ways.

Glasgow Science Centre is one of Scotland's must-see visitor attractions. It has lots of activities to keep visitors of all ages entertained for hours. There are two acres of interactive exhibits, workshops, shows, activities, a planetarium and an IMAX cinema.

The Science Show Theatre is the place for live science shows full of whizzes, bangs, pops and flashes.

Cast off in The Big Explorer and splash about in the Waterways exhibit, put on a puppet show and master the bubble wall.

Relax in the celestial treasure trove of the planetarium and explore the wonder of the night sky. Magic meets science in the MindWorks zone where mind-benders include the Vortex tunnel, Ames Room and the Phantom Hand! Be wowed by the 3D effects in the IMAX.

Explore an underwater universe, travel into space or discover the marine reptiles who ruled the sea long before the dinosaurs conquered the earth.

Control objects with the power of your mind, build a rollercoaster and look into the future. These are just some of the exciting things you can do with the interactive exhibits in the Science Mall.

Road Directions

From the M8 (east or west) take junction 24 and follow brown tourist signs.
From the M77 stay in the left hand lane (marked Tradeston/ Kinning Park) as the motorway merges with the M8. Take the next exit (junction 21) and follow brown tourist signs.
From the Clydeside Expressway take SECC (E) exit and then follow brown tourist signs.

By Train-
Exhibition Centre is located on the Argyle Line with regular services running from Glasgow Central and Partick Stations. There is a covered walkway from the station to SECC, from where you walk past the Crowne Plaza Hotel and over the river to Glasgow Science Centre (5-10 mins.)

By Subway-
The nearest station is Cessnock. Exit the station and turn left, then turn right onto Brand Street and then left onto Lorne Street. Turn left onto Pacific Drive and the entrance to Glasgow Science Centre is at the roundabout. (10-15 mins.)
