A rich reward for the long walk in, Glencripesdale is an isolated but beautiful strip of oak woodland, nestled against the shore of Loch Sunart. A springtime carpet of wild flowers is rolled out across the woodland floor, whilst mosses drip down the trees in a diversity of life equivalent to tropical rainforests. The rocky shoreline is a good place to watch for otters.
