    Gracefield Arts Centre presents a changing programme of contemporary visual art and craft exhibitions and activities.

    The Gracefield Arts Centre features a permanent collection of over 400 Scottish paintings from the 1880s to the present day, and holds a variety of exhibitions featuring local, UK and international artists and craftmakers. Explore the craftshop, printmakers, workshop and studio before enjoying a refreshment in the café.

    Dumfries & Galloway has a rich cultural heritage and is credited with more art and craft practitioners per square mile than anywhere else in the UK. It is also home to Spring Fling, Britain's premier open studios event.

    Getting there by railway:- From Dumfries: Turn right on to Lovers Walk then right at the T-junction on Edinburgh Road. Gracefield is located approx 200 yards along this road on the right.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- From Glasgow: Take the M8 to the M73 then follow directions south for Carlisle on the M6. Turn off at the A702 for Dumfries.

    Getting there by ferry:- From Stranraer: Follow A75 to Dumfries then directional signs from Town Centre.
