Hagi Hus Gallery

Millfield, Toab, Orkney, Orkney, KW17 2QU

The Hagi Hús Gallery is small gallery showing the work of owner and artist Celia Clark. Celia is a digital artist who has been making work since graduating from Edinburgh College of Art in 1999.

Welcome to the Hagi Hús Gallery! What was once an old dairy shed has been converted into a gallery by local artist Celia Clark. Hagi (hagee) an old Orkney word for ‘pasture’ and hús (hoose) the old Orkney spelling for ‘house’ illustrate the original use of the building at Millfield Farm.

Celia is a digital artist who graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 1999 and returned to live in Orkney inspired to resume her career as an artist. Her images begin as a photograph which she then digitally reworks. There is a variety of subject matter but each image is reworked in a unique way and she continues to experiment with the process. Work is available on canvas, in print and cards for every occasion. There is something for everyone!
