Harestanes Countryside Visitor Centre is a popular country park on the outskirts of Jedburgh.
Harestanes Countryside Visitor Centre lies on St Cuthbert’s Way, one of Scotland’s most popular long distance paths.
There is a large play park and the opportunity to enjoy a range of countryside walks for all ages and abilities. The centre celebrated its 20th anniversary during 2012 with a packed programme of events and family activities.
There are regular workshops, exhibitions, wildlife trails and season activities including spring and Halloween.
The café, which was recently refurbished, sells a range of fresh home baking including tray bakes, scones and FairTrade coffee.
The centre is well used by cyclists as the local network of quiet public roads includes the 55-mile 'Four Abbeys Cycle Route' which passes through Harestanes.
