    With the backdrop of mature woodland the garden at Inwood, of which a fine Cornus contraversa variagata forms the centerpiece, sits snugly around the house.

Springtime includes masses of tulips & rhododendrons whilst rambling roses romp through the trees in high summer.  Hydrangeas, dahlias & perennials bring the season to a close. In the glasshouse there is a colourful display of begonias & streptocarpus whilst the depths of the pond can be explored for newts & frogs. A RHS Recommended Garden.

    Road Directions

    From the A1 take A6094 exit signed Wallyford and Dalkeith.  At roundabout turn left on A6124.  Continue up hill for 1½ miles.  Turn left at Inwood sign on left.
