    Church of Scotland This 16th-century parish church, recently restored, won the West Lothian Award for Conservation in 1992.

    John Knox, James Paraffin Young, David Livingstone and Frederick Chopin have already visited here we look forward to meeting you too! Admission free, donations welcome. Organ by James Conacher, 1888. Restoration of stained glass windows 1995. Off A71 on B7015 in village of Mid Calder. Lovely stained glass and a pleasant rural setting will make your visit a pleasure.

    Getting there by railway:- From Edinburgh Waverley take Glasgow (Central) train to Livingston South station. You can then take a local bus or footpath walk which is 4 miles.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- From Edinburgh Airport turn westbound on A8 to M8 motorway. At junction 3 take direction A889 to Livingston. Continue to junction A889 and A71. Mid Calder is signposted from here.
