Overview

The award focuses on the standard of the welcome, hospitality and service the centre provides, as well as presentation and the standard of toilets and cafe provided.

In addition Visit Scotland has also recognised the leisure centre as achieving a Category 1: Unassisted Wheelchair Access for Visitors, throughout the centre. Facility Guide
Swimming Pools & Health Suite
•Six lane x 25m swimming pool with depths ranging from 1m to 1.8m suitable for competition swimming
•Teaching pool - 11m x 8m ranging in depth from 0.6m to 0.9m
•Sauna and Steam Room with a combined capacity of 30 and a relaxation area
•Changing Village - consisting of individual and family changing cubicles and lockers to serve the swimming pools and sauna and steam room

Health & Fitness facilities
•Fitness Suite - 70 station, Technogym equipment with Wellness Management System
•Studio - suitable for group exercise classes and club use
•Main Sports Hall - a multi purpose sports hall (four badminton courts) which can accommodate a full range of sporting activities and groups. The hall is also capable of accommodating spectator seating when required

Conference & Meeting Facilities
•Conference room with state-of-the-art multimedia equipment for up to 22 people boardroom style or 60 people theatre style
•Meeting room - suitable for meetings for six to eight people
•Cafe Max - with direct access from the entrance area there is a cafe for customers of the leisure centre, which will also provide hospitality packages for conferences and meetings
External Facilities
•Four floodlit five-a-side pitches - these are state-of-the-art 3rd generation pitches
•Two floodlit tennis courts - these are synthetic courts which if required can be used as additional 5-a-side football pitches
