    Lagganlia Centre provides high quality residential Outdoor Learning courses and advanced Adventures and Expeditions, within the astounding natural environment of the Cairngorms National Park.

    Lagganlia Centre provides high quality Outdoor Learning courses and more advanced Adventures and Expeditions, within the astounding natural environment of the Cairngorms National Park.  We specialise in year round (including snow sports)  residential courses for all types of organised groups,  including: schools and colleges, business team building/away days, groups of families and friends and those wanting to undertake John Muir/Duke of Edinburgh award, or similar awards.  Lagganlia is set in peaceful Glen Feshie, in the Scottish Highlands between Aviemore and Kingussie and is easily accessible by air, rail and road (A9).

    Road Directions

    Lagganlia is located in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park approx 8 miles from the mountain resort of Aviemore. By car we are approximately:
    • 35 mins from Inverness
    • 2hrs 30 mins from Edinburgh
    • 2 hrs 45mins from Glasgow
    BY ROAD From the South: Take the A9 north to Kingussie and head north on the B9152 to the village of Kincraig. In the village turn right at the War Memorial and continue for approx ½ mile crossing the River Spey with Loch Insh on your right. At the
    T-junction after Loch Insh Watersports turn left onto the B970 to Feshie Bridge. Once over the bridge turn right just after the red phone box. Lagganlia is approx mile down this road on the right. From the North: Leave the A9 south of Aviemore and then head south on the B9152 to Kincraig and then follow the above instructions from Kincraig.

    Public Transport Directions

    BY TRAIN/BUS There are main line railway stations in Aviemore and Kingussie (both less than 9 miles from Lagganlia) and a long distance bus service which passes through both towns.

    There are infrequent local buses which run to Kincraig village from both Kingussie and Aviemore however there is no bus service from Kincraig to Lagganlia. Taxis are available in both towns. BY AIR The nearest airport is Inverness which has daily flights from many major UK cities. Inverness Airport has car hire facilities and is less than 1 hour's drive north of Lagganlia.
