    The Mallaig Heritage Centre is an interpretive centre, museum and archive. There is an extensive exhibition which presents the region’s past and the growth of the harbour which become Europe's premier herring port.

    Getting there by railway:- From Mallaig Railway Station, turn right at end of platform. Heritage Centre is in front of you.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- From Inverness or Glasgow Airport take A82 road to Fort William, then A830 to Mallaig.

    Getting there by ferry:- From Mallaig Ferry Terminal follow signs for railway station. Heritage centre is between rail station and Marine Hotel.
