This 1.2-ha (3-a) walled garden has a delightful collection of old-fashioned roses and fine herbaceous borders.
The house was built for Sir James Murray of Kilbaberton around 1635. Its two Georgian reception rooms, added in 1823, are opened by the Friends of Malleny on occasion during the summer.
