• Family routes - All routes are tailored to the needs and interests of the participants, paying particular attention to physical abilities and fitness. Children as young as five have been out on my walks and managed not to get bored.

Special Requirements

• Disabled Citizens - I am experienced in guiding walks for those with severely impaired sight and with moderate limb immobility
• Dogs Welcome - You are welcome to bring your dog on the walk as long as you take responsibility and keep it under control

Duration

• Day walks - Most walks last no more than 6 hours with the average about 4-5 hours.

Stats

• Disabled Access - I am experienced in guiding walks for those with severely impaired sight and with moderate limb immobility
• Distance - Note that when walking in the hills on Harris, you should allow one hour per mile covered and plan your day accordingly
• Walk Duration - Most walks last no more than 6 hours with the average about 4-5 hours.

Theme

• Wildlife Walks - Depending on the route chosen, there is the possibility of seeing red deer, otters, golden and white-tailed eagles, peregrines and ravens. There are also many interesting plants and insects.

Walk Type

• Hill & Mountain walks - Routes on Harris can take you to some craggy and vertiginous spots, so you need to be sure you have a head for heights if you want to go high. As always, I tailor the route to meet your requirements.
• Moderate Walks - Sometimes walkers want to follow a gentle route and take a closer interest in flora and geology, for instance. That's fine, and I will plan a route accordingly.
