With Sea Kayaking, Walking, Climbing and Mountaineering you can enjoy the beauty of the Highlands all year round.

Get to know the real Highlands with local instructors whose priorities are your safety and your enjoyment. Since 1995 Mountain and Sea Guides, based in Applecross, has run all year round adventure activities. Our summer season is split between a variety of sea kayaking trips, all aimed at beginner level, and summer hill walking and mountaineering. In the winter our attention turns firmly towards winter mountaineering allowing a year of seasonally adventurous activities from half day trips to full multi day expeditions.
Running 2hr, ½ day, whole day and multi day sessions, there is something for everyone from the whole family to the experienced climber/sea kayaker to enjoy. Open Monday - Sunday we can plan around you.

With local and experienced instructors, Mountain and Sea Guides shows you the real Scotland. We pride ourselves on long standing experience, safety and our clients' enjoyment. As the longest running provider, in Scotland, of sea kayaking expeditions, for beginners: and with 38 year of mountaineering and climbing experience by senior guide Mike Arkley, we are confident that you will have a unique experience to remember for a lifetime.

Offering full board and course only options on our multi day courses, Mountain and Sea Guides allows you to be in charge of your budget. Shorter ½ day and day sessions allows you to get a taste of the activities that we have on offer.
