Oakbank

Parks & Gardens

Ardrishaig, Argyllshire, PA30 8EP

Oakbank is a private garden situated on a hillside in the small Argyll village of Ardrishaig.

Oakbank is a charming garden which covers approximately three acres of land in the lochside village of Ardrishaig.

The garden has been transformed from overgrown trees and shrubbery to an open area which visitors can enjoy along several paths. It is also a haven for wildlife, with regular sightings of red squirrels, voles, shrews and woodmice.

In addition to the trees, shrubs, bulbs and wild flowers, are a number of small ponds, wood carvings and a secret garden created for children.

A viewpoint at the top of the garden offers spectacular views over Loch Fyne to the Isle of Arran.
