    Old Gala House And Scott Gallery is an impressive building boasting a history spanning five centuries.

    Discover the story of Old Gala House, its inhabitants and the early development of Galashiels.
     
    The museum includes a permanent collection plus three spaces catering for the lively temporary exhibition programme based on local heritage and unusual arts.

    Facilities also include family history research, children's events, a tearoom, audio guide, gardens, free car parking and a shop selling gifts, books and souvenirs.
