    The Pentland Hills Regional Park is a living working landscape which offers great opportunities to experience and enjoy the outdoors.

    Sculpted by glaciers and water over thousands of years, the Pentland Hills Regional Park spans some 22,000 acres of peaceful wild landscape.

    The peace and tranquillity of the Pentlands Hills are perfect for refreshing walks, enjoying some spectacular panoramic views, thrilling bike rides, a gentle stroll with the family and watching wildlife. With over 100 km of routes, walking in the Pentlands can be enjoyed at all times of the year. Cycling, horse riding, orienteering, fishing and golf are also available.

    You can get to the Pentland Hills Regional Park by car. Loom for brown tourist signs on the A70. The park is bounded by the A702 on the eastern side and the A70 in the West.
