Pollok House is a grand country house in Pollok Country Park and gives a real flavour of life in the 1930s as well as boasting an outstanding art collection.
The magnificent mahogany and marble hallway of Pollock House makes quite an impact. The lavish family rooms are crammed with period furniture and furnishings. Then there is the impressive collection of Spanish art, with paintings by El Greco, Goya and Murillo all on display.
Below stairs, the vast servants’ quarters show the realities of running a country house. Visit the award-winning Edwardian Kitchen Restaurant for a drink and a bite to eat.
