Overview

If it's a challenge you're after we have plenty of adventurous activities that will test your skills and push you to your limits, or simply whet your appetite and give you a taste of adventure. You can try our exhilarating zip wire and fly 300m through the air on your own or with a friend on our twin-parallel wire or try out kayaking or open canoeing on our lake. Or if you're after a more gentle approach why not take advantage of the indoor heated swimming pool, try your hand at archery or hire bikes and ride along the 7 Stanes mountain bike trails amongst the forest adjacent to the centre.

FREEDOM TP PLAN YOUR VISIT

Whatever you choose the centre is perfect for your visit, whether a weekend getaway, day visits with family or friends, a residential break, a retreat or summer camp, you have the flexibility and freedom to plan your programme and tailor your stay according to your particular requirements. Comfortable accommodation options are available for up to 200 guests and are set in individual Scandinavian style lodges that are warm and welcoming with the option to be catered for or self catering in our excellent, modern equipped kitchen facilities. The centre also has disabled access accommodation in several lodges.

LOCATION

Located just outside the beautiful, rural village of Newcastleton you get a real sense of being away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life as the centre shares the 110 acres of Scottish Border countryside with the local wildlife, red squirrels and a variety of deer amongst a few, yet the centre is within easy travelling distance of the M6 and M74 motorways and just 40mins from Carlisle.

Each year we welcome over 10,000 visitors to the centre from a wide variety of families and groups including schools, church groups, day trippers and community groups such as The Prince's Trust and Scouts.


OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

We are committed to providing safe adventure sessions that are also challenging and a lot of fun!
All of our centres are licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) and are regularly inspected by technical advisors. Wherever possible National Governing Body qualifications are used and strict training and assessment programmes are run and overseen by technical advisors.
