Rothan Cycles is based at Howmore and offers cycle hire, repairs, accessories and bikes for sale.
Most hire bikes are 21 speed mountain bike-based hybrids with carriers. Alloy frame expedition type with carriers and mudguards can be provided as can baby seats, pumps, locks, tools and spare tubes.
You can also arrange to pick up bikes from Eriskay to Lewis for cycling the length of the Outer Hebrides.
All maintenance and repairs are undertaken including wheel building and repair with accessories and spares always in stock.
The company offers bikes for hire throughout the year but recommends booking in advance for June, July and August.
