    Rothiemurchus welcomes visitors everyday of the year to be inspired by beautiful scenery whilst enjoying relaxing or adventurous activities.

    Rothiemurchus is found at the heart of Cairngorms National Park, just outside Aviemore - a jewel of the Highlands.

    At the forefront of nature conservation, Rothiemurchus is a much loved asset.

    Activities include clay shooting, fishing, archery, bushcraft, canoeing, feeding the deer, 4x4 driving, gorge walking, gorge swimming, safaris by land rover, hillwalking, pony trekking and quad trekking.

    You can also take part in white-water-rafting, family rafting, river kayaking, river tubing, safaris on foot, tennis, yoga, walking, biking, TreeZone high ropes and wildlife photography and watching.

    Facilities include parking, shops, a restaurant café and art gallery.

    Prior booking is recommended.

    By Bus:-

    From Aviemore bus station turn left and take the next left along the B970 or along the footpath following signs for Rothiemurchus.

    Public Transport Directions

    Getting there by railway:- From Aviemore railway station turn left and take the next left along the B970 or along the footpath following signs for Rothiemurchus.

    From Tourist Information Centre:-

    From Aviemore tourist information centre walk across the road to the footpath or turn right onto Grampian Road then next left on the B970 to Coylumbridge and Rothiemurchus.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- From Inverness airport follow the signs for the A9 south. Take the turn off to Aviemore and drive through Aviemore to the turn off (left) for the B970 (Ski Road) to Coylumbridge and Rothiemurchus.
