Imagine sailing around Scotland’s beautiful Western Isles on a classic 1930s yacht, which once belonged to Her Majesty The Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.
This once in a lifetime opportunity is now a reality as the Royal Racing Yacht Bloodhound is available for charter in the summer months.
Normally on display alongside The Royal Yacht Britannia in Leith, Edinburgh, Bloodhound will travel to Oban Marina in July and August 2013. During this time she is available for day charter of groups and individuals who wish to step back in time aboard this icon of British sailing.
Up to 8 guests are able to enjoy sailing through the stunning scenery of Scotland’s West Coast, with the hospitality of the Skipper and crew who are former HMY Britannia Royal Yachtsmen. Guests can choose to sit back and relax on board, or help the Ocean Master qualified Skipper and crew ‘man the ropes.’ Perfect for sailing enthusiasts, private celebrations, company incentives or team building.
This year, guests can make their trip even more memorable with a stay at the five-star Cameron House Hotel on the banks of Loch Lomond and sea plane journey to Oban Marina.
