The Scottish National Centre for sailing offers coaching at every level, in a range of water sports including dinghy sailing, cruising, and windsurfing.
The centre enjoys a friendly ambience and provides excellent shore-based accommodation and modern boats.
The training staff is highly qualified and staff members bring with them energy and enthusiasm for the activities. Ashore the support staff work hard to make your stay both comfortable and welcoming.
The location of the centre is excellent for dinghy sailing. With a sheltered rigging and launching area it is easy for you to get afloat. The new breakwater creates an inner lagoon and the waters beyond provide first-rate sailing in more open water, great views and an island coastline to explore.
The enjoyable powerboat courses are excellent for those who want to learn how to handle a boat, and are often essential for those who wish to drive RIBs for commercial of safety purposes. The content of the course will ensure you know how to drive a RIB safely in different situations.
The different cruising courses and trips offered are aimed at providing something for all. The weekend courses are excellent for beginners and sailors gaining experience. The five-day courses allow you to work towards an appropriate RYA award. All RYA cruising courses have a qualified RYA Yachtmaster aboard.
