Getting there by ferry:- From Ardrossan to berthing at Brodick, turn right at the top of the pier onto B841 and go through village of Brodick. Do not follow main road round to Corie but carry straight on up hill for 11 miles to a Y junction, turn right, down to Blackwaterfoot.
