The sheltered waters of Uig Bay offer a great location for water skiing, which is also available from the RIB.

Mountain biking in Skye was recently cited by MBR magazine as having the best single-track trail in Britain. The backdrop of incredible scenery makes this one of the best and most challenging places to mountain bike in Scotland.

Sea kayaking gives you the opportunity to really feel part of this wonderful environment. The protected Uig Bay provides a great location to safely paddle on the tri yaks. These sea kayaks can take two adults and a child and are very stable, making them suitable for beginners and all ages.
 
Accommodation packages are also available at Woodbine Guest House in the village of Uig, 15 miles north of Portree. The location is also perfect for accessing the Outer Hebrides - the ferry leaves from the village to Uist and Harris.
