Just 20 minutes from Dumfries near the popular Southerness Holiday Village, Solway Links Pay and Play is an 18 hole visitor orientated course, providing relaxed golfing in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
Built on an ancient raised beach with well drained, undulating fairways, the 4701 yards, par 66 course is great fun for families and beginners, overlooking the Solway Firth with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and across the sea to the Lake District.
Solway Links provides holiday golfing at its most accessible, you can even take advantage of the nine hole option - play nine, then have a break in a local pub or Southerness village with its miles of sandy beaches - then return for more golf!
The course is well stocked with equipment for hire, including left-handed clubs, trolleys and other equipment. Season golfing tickets and golf buggies are also available. There are no dress restrictions.
Try something completely new! Solway Links Pay and Play is the first course in Scotland to have GolfCross. It’s played over a course just like golf, using the same clubs and the same basic rules, but two things are different; the shape of the ball (oval) and the shape of the target (a rectangular goal suspended in mid-air).
For more family golf try Tongland Family Golf Centre or Hoddom Castle.
