These land-sailing activities are suitable come rain or sun for everyone from an absolute beginner to an experienced sailor or outdoor sports enthusiast, with an age range from 8 to 80. Speed Kart Xtreme also offers activities for stag, hen and birthday parties as well as corporate groups.

The company is operated to the highest professional standards with fully qualified instructors, both members of the British Land Sailing Association (BLSA) ensuring you have an unforgettable experience in a safe environment.

Speed Kart Xtreme provides exciting land-sailing opportunities with a two hour session that includes full land-sailing instruction, a health and safety briefing, practice runs and either timed or group races depending on participant numbers. Every participant will be required to complete a personal health questionnaire.

Sensible outer clothes/trousers and strong shoes should be worn - an anorak and trainers are perfectly acceptable. Specialist helmets, goggles and gloves will be provided.

All participants are requested to arrive at the aerodrome at least 15 minutes before commencement of the sailing activity.

Please bear in mind that land-sailing is dependent on appropriate wind conditions - always check with Speed Kart Xtreme that there is sufficient wind prior to the booked activity taking place. If the wind is not appropriate for sailing, an alternative session will be offered on the day, conditions permitting. Failing this, a voucher will be issued.
