Stonehaven to Inverbervie - 25 miles

Cycle Routes

    Moderate to difficult.

The Kincardine & Mearns area of Aberdeenshire Council offers a striking coastline and spectacular cliff top views. There is a wealth of historical interest to be discovered both along the coast and inland. Much of the coast is associated with the fishing industry, while inland agricultural heritage dominates.

This moderate to difficult route utilises sections of the National Cycle Network (Route 1).  Although most of the roads used are quiet country roads caution is advised at points on the route when crossing the busy A92.

Sites of particular interest along this route include, the imposing Dunnotar Castle and the church at Kinneff, where the Scottish Crown jewels were once hidden.
