    The Black Watch Castle & Museum tells the story of Scotland's elite military regiment whose history stretches back almost three centuries.

    Located in the city of Perth, Scotland, The Black Watch Castle & Museum is one of the top visitor attractions in Perthshire and includes the Copper Beech Cafe, the Museum Shop and the Regimental Museum.

    The Museum
    Located in the original Castle is the Black Watch Museum, with world class displays to help you explore the history of Scotland’s oldest Highland regiment. We run Daily Guided Tours of the Museum - see our website for full deails.

    The Castle and Museum Gift Shop  is a fantastic place to find unique and exclusive gift items, including clothing and accessories, jewellery, specialist highland dress items as well as Scottish shortbreads and cakes, fudge and biscuits.

    The Cafe is a delightful location in which to enjoy breakfast, lunch or a cup of tea and a cake. Housed in the new extension of The Black Watch Castle and Museum, the Cafe aims to offer fresh and local produce and the staff pride themselves on their home baking.
