Welcome to The Buccleuch Centre - a beautiful wee theatre and arts venue nestled in the Esk Valley. Available for functions and meetings as well as having an extensive programme of events.

The Buccleuch Centre is a beautiful wee theatre and arts centre nestled in the Esk Valley, just 7 miles across the border with England and 23 miles south of Hawick on the A7.

We have a 250 seat auditorium with top class lighting and sound facilities which enable us to offer a wide range of perfomances, from drama to comedy, classical orchestras to rock bands, seminars, talks, the range is endless.   We are also the venue for the monthly Langholm Producers Market and regular antique and collectors fairs.  The Buccleuch Centre can also host wedding receptions and parties from small and intmate to large and noisy!  Our Coffee Shop is open from Tuesday to Friday where you can relax in our light airy foyer with a freshly made cappucino or latte and a slice of home made cake, or maybe meet friends for lunch and eat from our menu of freshly prepared, homemade lunches.

Check out our programme to see what we have on offer, huge names like Joan Armatrading, Kiki Dee, Eddi Reader, The Bay City Rollers, Mike Denver, Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham, Cara Dillon, and The Peatbog Faeries along with Royal Scottish National Orchestra are just a few past and future stars to grace our stage.  We are also very excited to be offering National Theatre Live screenings now along with some live opera, ballet and other live musical events, this is a brand new venture for us and we hope you will help us make it a huge success.  Contact us to get on our mailing list and also to get our monthly email newsletter so you don't miss any of our forthcoming performances.  For many of our performances we offer a bookable pre theatre supper, so you can have a leisurely meal before enjoying a night of entertainment, just ask when booking your tickets.

The Buccleuch Centre is the perfect place for a night out, fully accessible with free parking, we are possibly the finest theatre in the South of Scotland.  Pay us a visit soon.
