Get lost in a remarkable maze designed entirely out of maize at Cairnie Fruit Farm.
Cairnie Fruit Farm boasts one of Fife’s most unique and fun family attractions, an incredible maze created entirely out of maize grown to a height of 8 ft. Explore a labyrinthine network of pathways and alleys extending over 6 acres. The maze is open from mid July until October when the maize is harvested for cattle feed. Tickets purchased for the Mega Maze also entitle visitors to a whole host of other activities and attractions including a go-cart track and the giant straw bale climbing fortress. There are also trampolines, a massive sand box, swings, slides, a ‘young farmers yard’ where children can ride on peddle tractors, loaders & trailers, an XL bouncing pillow, 30m flying fox and other surprises. Afterwards, visit the Country Tearoom which offers fine view and a superb selection of beverages, savoury options and delicious home baked treats including shortbread, scones and fruit muffins. There is also a fabulous choice of smoothies made using fresh fruits grown on the farm.
