The Fingal Centre is part of a new development which includes state of the art community facilities and a high school.
The facility is located below Áite-suidhe Fhinn, or Fingal's Seat. Fingal, Celtic hero and King of Morvern, had a close association with several areas of Skye.
The Fingal Centre provides a focal point for the whole community. Key features include a five lane 25 m swimming pool with moveable floor, sauna, steam room and a fitness suite with fixed weight and cardiovascular equipment.
Facilities also include a games hall (four badminton court size), gymnasium (one badminton court size), The Venue (multipurpose hall with seating, stage, sound and lighting), a climbing wall, all weather pitch, multi-court area, library, and learning centre.
